Chapter 725: The Bully Appears
Perhaps because the family of three was together, the owner’s wife and the owner were much relieved. Ely didn’t know whether her parents also felt as relaxed as they appeared, but she could only do this much for now.
"Alright, let’s not dwell on this anymore. It’s getting late. Let’s go back and rest. Let us, as a family, happily greet tomorrow morning," Ely said with a smile.
"Okay, but it’s been a long time since we mother and daughter slept together. Would you like to sleep with Mom tonight?" the owner’s wife said, holding Ely’s hand.
Ely knew her mother didn’t trust her; she feared she might secretly go to find the bully. So Ely looked at her mother with even more tenderness.
"Okay, Mom, then tonight let Dad sleep alone. I’m going to take you over," Ely said, holding her mother’s arm.
The family of three parted ways, each with a smile, as if there were no shadows looming over them.
But some things don’t cease to exist just because you ignore them.
Ely’s family never expected the bully would bring his gang so early to bang on the door.
The wooden door of the hotel turned into pieces on the floor under the assault of a group of strong young men.
"Where is everyone? Come out! What do you think of my proposal yesterday?" The bully was a muscular man.
He had a beard and a body size uncommon among most people from Holland. He looked old, and standing next to the flower-like Ely, they didn’t look like a couple, more like father and daughter.
That was Xu Ke’s first reaction when he walked out of his room in his pajamas and saw the bully.
"Tsk, what a pity," Xu Ke lamented.
Hearing footsteps upstairs, the bully quickly raised his eyes to look, but realized that the person coming down was not his intended target but a strange man, a foreigner at that. The bully’s expression turned unpleasant, and he glared at Xu Ke with hostility.
"Why are you still here? I thought all the guests in this hotel had already been driven out," the bully said, looking at Xu Ke unpleasantly.
Meanwhile, Ely’s family, unable to sleep due to their worries, was awakened by the loud noise.
The family of three hurriedly changed their clothes and rushed out of the room.
What they saw was the somewhat wrecked lobby and the imposing bully with his followers. The owner’s wife and the owner were trembling all over, unsure if it was from anger or fear.
"Oh, you finally came out. It’s so late, I thought you were deliberately avoiding me, not wanting to come out to see me," the bully said, gazing greedily at Ely.
Yesterday, Xu Ke hadn’t gotten a good look at Ely’s face, but now he followed the bully’s gaze to Ely standing beside the owner’s wife.
Though Ely had a gentle-sounding name, her appearance was anything but gentle.
Her eyebrows were sharp, her eyes narrow and long with a hint of cold seduction, a presence that screamed "keep away" yet paradoxically also "welcome." She seemed out of place in this hotel, like a Queen fallen into humble surroundings.
Xu Ke thought he understood why the bully wanted to use Ely’s parents to coerce her.
Just by appearance, a woman like Ely didn’t seem like someone who could be dominated by a man. She would incite a man’s desire to possess and conquer, driving him mad for her.
Just as Xu Ke imagined, the moment Ely appeared, the bully’s eyes looked glued to her.
"Ely, you’re really beautiful. Have you thought about it? Do you want to be my girlfriend?" The bully flicked his hair, trying to look cool.
The owner and the owner’s wife lost any remaining drowsiness, swiftly shielding Ely behind them. They didn’t even bother stopping the bully’s henchmen from trying to open the cash register. That money was insignificant compared to their daughter.
Seeing his goddess hidden away, the bully frowned disapprovingly, "What do you mean by this? Did you forget what I told you?"
"You can smash up our shop all you want. Whatever you want, as long as I have it, I’m willing to give. But not Ely. We won’t let Ely be with you, you can forget about it," the owner’s wife said fiercely.
The owner also shielded his wife and daughter, nodding in agreement.
"Do you really think I won’t do anything?" the bully said while advancing to the upstairs.
His muscles bulged slightly with his movement, and his joints cracked as he moved them.
His advancing figure felt like a boulder, heavily weighing on Ely’s family’s hearts.
They were scared, but they wouldn’t back down, for their daughter, their precious Ely, stood behind them.
Just as the bully was about to take the final step and reach out to grab someone, a slender body blocked Ely’s family and the bully’s path.
"This is none of your business. If you don’t want to get beaten, get out of my way," the bully said, glaring fiercely at Xu Ke.
"Sorry, I’m not planning on getting out of the way. Not only am I not planning to, but I also intend for you and your men to get out of this hotel," Xu Ke said with a smile.
"What did you say?" The bully rubbed his ears, incredulous that Xu Ke dared to say such a thing.
"What, getting old and deaf now? I said I want you all out of this hotel!" Xu Ke repeated, his expression unchanged, his demeanor calm.
"I think you’re asking for death," the bully said, and his fist, as large as a bowl, swung towards Xu Ke.
"Watch out!" The owner and the owner’s wife, seeing the looming fist, got extremely anxious, instinctively raising their voices to warn Xu Ke.
Xu Ke wasn’t frightened by the bully, but the sudden noise behind him startled him for a bit; however, it didn’t affect his performance.
Xu Ke raised his leg, his long legs, slender ankles, like works of art; it seemed that one punch would shatter them.
The bully didn’t even take that leg seriously; he even changed the direction of his attack, targeting it instead.
His eyes reddened with excitement at the impending scene, resembling a beast on the hunt more than a human.
The owner and the owner’s wife closed their eyes, unable to bear witnessing what was about to happen, afraid of facing the upcoming scene.
