"Damn you, Corey Junior Zane. Do you want to kill me that bad?!"
Pamela instantly exploded in anger the moment the unfortunate Tier 5 goat-like beasts died due to Corey’s attack.
Corey calmly lowered his hand, and with an indifferent expression, he tilted his head slightly.
"I thought you said I couldn’t kill you."
Pamela gritted her teeth in anger, and then she cursed once again before looking away and firing a ball of white lightning at another unfortunate Tier 5 beast of the ridge that happened to be walking toward Corey and Pamela.
The beast looked like a fox, and before it could even respond, the ball of lightning appeared before it in the blink of an eye, and it exploded like a grenade, scorching the ground and turning it to ash.
Corey looked at the remains of the beast with a slight frown.
"The sound you caused was too loud. You’ve drawn attention toward us."
"Good. At least they can feel my anger and frustration toward you." Pamela grinned dangerously, and Corey shook his head.
"Let’s go. Kill as many beasts as possible. Especially the Tier 6s."
Without waiting for a response from Pamela, Corey executed
and he left her behind.
"Bastard." Pamela cursed, and she too ran after Corey, but she made sure not too overtake him so that they could both attack with efficiency.
In the eyes of Kiefer, Selene, and Willow, what they were seeing was a black and white lightning bolt that streaked across the ridge, moving from up to down at a terrifying speed.
The black and white lightning bolt would sometimes swerve and form a spiral that shot out mini black and white lightning bolts to the left and right hand side.
It was extremely beautiful in their eyes, and they were enamored while watching it.
Meanwhile, the ridge which was the territory of the Immortal Leopard became riddled with death as two abnormal beings approached it.
The Immortal Leopard could sense the death of so many beasts in its territory, and it was roused from its light slumber.
Its perception spread out from him, and his gaze instantly fell on Corey and Pamela who were approaching it without stopping even for a second.
At first, it was wary because he could feel an unfathomable aura in the lightning of Pamela, and a familiar terrifying aura in the lightning of Corey.
The Immortal Leopard looked at Corey’s lightning with a bit of apprehension as his eyes flashed with memories of the lightning tribulation he went through to become a Tier 7.
"Hmm?"
Just as it thought that it was about to fight another Immortal, he sensed the Tier of Corey, and his eyes flashed with confusion.
The Immortal Leopard thought he was seeing wrong, but his senses told him otherwise.
It shifted its gaze to Pamela, and when he sensed that her aura was just Tier 4, confusion flashed in its eyes along with relaxation.
The Immortal Leopard suddenly looked at the Celestial Dewfern, and then his senses picked up a group that was coming from the other side of his territory.
The Immortal Leopard frowned.
The Immortal Leopard pointed a claw at the Celestial Dewfern, and a barrier made out of Immortal Mana covered the herb.
"Hmm. That should do it."
The Immortal Leopard nodded slightly, and then it rose and looked in the direction of Corey and Pamela.
Approximately four seconds later, they both appeared, and the moment they appeared on the ridge, their expressions remained the same because they already knew that the Immortal Beast had been watching them for some time now.
The Immortal Leopard expected them to stop since he was before them, but they didn’t slow down in the slightest, stunning the Immortal Leopard.
Pamela dashed toward the Immortal Leopard with her Genetic Armament in her hand, a spear which she called Destroyer.
Lightning streaked across Destroyer, and her gaze was frighteningly cold as she ran toward the Immortal Leopard.
Meanwhile, Corey was slightly behind her but he suddenly took a turn to the far right, confusing the Immortal Leopard.
"What the-?"
It was confused, and just as it was about to look at Corey, Pamela suddenly jumped toward it and threw her spear with full force.
Pure lightning streaked across it, and the Immortal Leopard was shocked when it felt a tinge of threat from the attack.
The attack was not capable of ending its life and it was not even capable of causing it a severe injury, but it could injure him, and this was a problem for it.
It was already injured because of the unexpected and sudden destruction of their planet, and the Celestial Dewfern was one of the few herbs around that could boost the rate of his recovery.
Even now, it wasn’t at full strength, and it could only use about forty-five percent (45%) of its full strength.
But even with that, Corey and Pamela knew that they were not a match for the Immortal Leopard.
They could feel its unstable aura, but they could also feel their instincts warning them about the immense danger the Immortal Leopard possessed.
The Immortal Leopard raised its palm and was about to send out a pulse of Immortal Mana that he believed should shatter Pamela’s Destroyer, its perception suddenly picked up on Corey, and its eyes flashed with shock, disbelief, and then rage.
