Ceci constitue la premiere mention de cette espece pour le Mali.

n 3 January 1995, whilst mist-netting near
Bougouni, Mali fortwo days, a Yellow-breasted
Apalis Apalisflavida was caught and photographed.
The bird was uniformly greenish above and had a
yellow throat and breast contrasting with the whitish
belly. These characters show that the bird was an
immature2 Measurementswere:wing48mm;tarsus 18
.
mm; weight7.4g. This isapparentlythe firstrecordof
thespecies in Mali: it isnot listedbyDowsett&Forbes-
Watson1 or Urban etal1 Elsewhere, Yellow-breasted
.
Apalis occurs in open forest and savannah from The
Gambia and Sierra Leone, north to Chad and Niger,
easttosouthernSudan,UgandaandcentralKenya,and Yellow-breastedApalisApalisflavida.Mali,January 1995
