My interests have changed considerably since 1958; I began collecting U.S. & Canadian
coins and for the first two years found all items in change. When I began to upgrade
was when I was introduced to 'coin dealers'. Subsequently I began collecting foreign
largest denomination coins. Other collecting areas were Mexico, especially revolu-
tionary, British Commonwealth, and finally "elephant"' coins, tokens, medals, etc.
In the mid '80s I disposed of all my U.S. collection, all foreign largest denomi-
nation and today I continue to collect the balance of the aforementioned.
Other Interests:
I am trying my hand at numismatic writing by doing a series of articles
on elephants on coins & exonumia from ancient to modern. Thus far I have submitted
three articles to the Topical Numismatic Society. (over)
