Preface
Welcometothe15theditionofthe2022EuropeanAllianceforInnovation(EAI)Inter-
national Conference on Wireless Internet Conference (EAI WiCON), which was held
virtuallyonNovember17,2022,inDallas,Texas,USA.
We are delighted to introduce the proceedings of EAI WiCON, which focuses on
variousaspectsofwirelesstechnology.EAIWiCON2022aimedtotacklethechallenges
of wireless Internet communications, covering topics ranging from technology issues
to new applications, especially focusing on current, novel, and future next-generation
wirelessInternettechnologies,5G,6G,IoT,IndustrialIoT,HealthcareIoT,andrelated
topics. This conference has brought researchers, developers and practitioners around
the world to share their experiences and research findings on all aspects of Wireless
InternetCommunications.Furthermore,EAIWiCON2022offersaleadinginterdisci-
plinaryforumforacademics,educators,andpractitionerstopresentanddiscussthelatest
technologies,developments,practicalchallenges,andapproachestoWirelessInternet.
The technical program of EAI WiCON 2022 consisted of 16 full research papers
on the above research issues, which form 4 oral presentation sessions, each of which
includes 4 papers. The conference sessions were: Technical Session 1 - Security and
Privacy; Technical Session 2 - Blockchain and Wireless Networks; Technical Session
3 - Resource Management, Routing; and Technical Session 4 - Social Networks and
Learning.Theresearchpaperscollectedinthisinternationalconferencewererigorously
reviewed by the scientific program committee members. Aside from the high-quality
technicalpaperpresentations,thetechnicalprogramalsofeaturedonekeynotespeech,
titled“ConnectedWorld:Past,Present,andFuture”.ThiskeynotewasdeliveredbyDr.
Samee Khan who is the James W. Bagley Chair Professor and Department Head of
Electrical & Computer Engineering at the Mississippi State University. Dr. Khan was
ClusterLead(2016–2020)forComputerSystemsResearchattheUSNationalScience
Foundation(NSF).
Many people have kindly helped us prepare and organize the EAI WiCON 2022
Conference.Firstofall,thecoordinationwiththegeneralchairs,Dr.ZygmuntHaasand
Dr.RaviPrakashwasessentialforthesuccessoftheconference.Wesincerelyappreciate
