Vinkhuyzen. Deze ontving voor een behandeling van drie dagen het honorarium van ƒ 20.000,-. Toen een fortuin. Niet veel later stierf Alexander en haalden koning en kabinet opgelucht adem.</span><span><br></span><span>- In 1924 wordt door een kleinzoon van Alexanders secretaris een kistje gevonden dat hij, conform een toegevoegd briefje, ongezien naar H.M. Koningin Wilhelmina op Het Loo brengt. Tot zijn verrassing ontvangt hij even later het kistje terug, leeg, en als beloning het eveneens vorstelijke bedrag van duizend gulden. En dat terwijl bekend was dat Wilhelmina over elke stuiver viel. Het is door diverse bronnen bevestigd dat de koningin direct daarna de inhoud van het kistje - papieren, brieven - in de tuinen van Het Loo heeft laten verbranden.</span>
