Detective Amy Stone and her new partner Raylon “Nims” Cross have been tasked with quietly catching a serial killer using the islands of Lake Murray as his dumping ground at the height of tourist season, once again fueling the legend of the Saluda Valley witch.Things take a sinister turn when the killer takes a member of the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, setting off a firestorm detectives trace back to two different people–Beatrice Harrington and none other than her ex-partner, Detective Drew Clayton.
