foughtbackandfoughthard. Andwewon! Byanarrowvote,the
amendmenttodeflindPacificawas finallydefeated lastsummer.
But it didn't end there. In July ofthis year, those same anti-
democratic, conservative forces started mobilizing once more
against WBAI and our sister stations in another effort to target
Pacificabycutting$1 milliondollarsfi-omtheCPBappropriation.
