2.735, Index Copernicus Value 5.16 and IJMER is listed and indexed in 34
popular indexed organizations in the world. This academic achievement of
IJMER is only author’s contribution in the past issues. I hope this journey of
IJMER more benefit to future academic world.
The current issue deals with Hinduism, Rural Development, Economic
Reforms in India, Philosopical Foundation of Islam, Types of Pranayama and etc.
These applied topics are a fund of knowledge for their utilization.
In the present issue, we have taken up details of multidisciplinary issues
discussed in academic circles. There are well written articles covering a wide range
of issues that are thought provoking as well as significant in the contemporary
research world.

THE HINDUISM IN BALI

1. Introduction
Hinduism is one of the great religion in the world, and it has a holy book
was called the Veda. From the Veda itself the Hinduism’s teaching appeared.
Because of the broadness of the area and the length of the time was passed by,
therefore its form can change according to space and time that it passed by, but its
essence is remain as Veda essence. The essence of Hinduism teaching which was
inherited in Bali also equal to the essence of the Veda. The Veda is the source of
teaching for the religious life of Hinduism. The local social-cultural always become
its base media. As the result the worship form to Hyang Widhi are various.
In the Veda, God is called as Agni or Indra or Varuna, in the Upanisad God
is called as Brahman, and in the Hinduism of Bali, God is called as Sang Hyang
Widhi or Śiwa. The essence of the divinity’s teaching in Śiwa Tattwa is equal to
the divinity’s teaching in the Veda. Siwa Tatwa itself is realized in the religious
services in Bali.
The form of its religious service is also various from one place to other
place although its principle is same. The variety also added with the freedom of
interpretation, which that interpretation will be formed become a new way of
worship.
Although Hinduism in Bali has the characteristic as
above, but it has a mature form. The teaching of divinity
in Bali: Ekatva anekatva svalak ana Bharārā, means that God is the
