Guidance and Planning for
Success (GPS) Requirements
Getting started at LTCC
is as easy as A, B, C...
A. NEW STUDENT ORIENTATIONS: Orientations are designed to help our new students learn more about LTCC, our
processes and procedures, resources available, financial aid information, involvement opportunities, and educational
planning; they also provide a chance to meet other new students. Students will take part in a campus tour as well as
an interactive workshop involving PASSPORT, the student information portal. An orientation takes about 3 hours to
complete. Choose the one that meets your needs and call for a reservation. Your student ID# is required to RSVP.
LTCC online students who live out of the immediate areas need to contact the ONE-STOP for information about an
online orientation option.

Fee Waiver Program
The State of California will waive the enrollment fee for all qualifying students who apply for the Board of Governors Fee Waiver*
(BOGFW). This program provides three ways to help students pay the enrollment fee. Students eligible in one of the three following areas
should visit the Financial Aid Office, Room A102, before registering for classes. Applications will normally be processed within 24 hours.
