Nell’equipaggio spiccano il naturalista, professore Aronnax, il servo Conseil e il fiocinatore Ned Land. Travolti da un’ondata, i tre vengono raccolti proprio dal “mostro marino”, il "Nautilus", guidato dal misterioso capitano Nemo, un uomo che rifugge il consesso civile, si schiera talvolta a sostegno degli oppressi e peraltro si sente un perseguitato. Insieme al capitano Nemo, avranno modo di percorrere in lungo e in largo gli oceani, alla riscoperta delle rovine dell’Atlantide perduta e lottando contro piovre gigantesche, fino al sorprendente finale.</p>
