abstract. The genus-group name “Fusionodes” is recognized as an unavailable name due
to lack of the type species designation, which was erroneously omitted in the original description.
To render the name valid, Cephennodes hippopotamus Jałoszyński, 2007 is designated as the
type species of Fusionodes, a subgenus of Cephennodes reitter.

Due to an author’s error, designation of the type species for the new subgenus
Fusionodes has been omitted during rearrangements of the manuscript (Jałoszyński
2007). As a result, “Fusionodes Jałoszyński” was not an available name. The missing
type species is designated herein, and the name Fusionodes becomes valid upon the
publication of this corrigendum.
