Use
SAP Electronic Invoicing for Brazil (SAP Nota Fiscal Eletrônica; SAP NFE) helps companies comply with the
Brazilian legal requirements for electronic invoicing.
● Companies selling products in Brazil must send each invoice electronically to the government for validation
before shipping their goods.
● Companies purchasing goods in Brazil must check the electronic invoice at the government before receiving
the goods.
The brazilian government wants to be sure that all due tax revenue is collected. Companies need to handle these
activities with an automated solution that can scale to high volumes of invoices and meet their business process
requirements: SAP Electronic Invoicing for Brazil (SAP Nota Fiscal Eletrônica; SAP NFE) is that solution.

Avulsa NF-es are displayed in the Fiscal Workplace and have a different business determination than
normal NF-es. For more information, see Business Process Determination for NF-es [page 216] and

● General Improvements
○ Log read access to sensitive personal data for main documents added
An application log is written whenever someone looks at the details of an NF-e, CT-e or MDF-e, or
downloads the XML of an NF-e, CT-e or MDF-e. This log is switched off by default and can be switched on
in Customizing.
● Changed Features
○ To issue or receive NF-e with layout 4.00, you have to configure new integration scenarios in SAP
NetWeaver Process Integration. These scenarios - and all other related artifacts - can be found in the new
namespace http://sap.com/xi/NFE/009. For more details please refer to Configuration of SAP PI

This feature enables you to implement the following legal change:

This feature enables you to implement the following legal change:
● The Distribution Web Service now supports the download of single documents, the Web Services
NfeConsultaDest and NFeDownloadNF are deprecated. The Distribution Web Service is now used for
dowloading NF-es from the Gatekeeper and the Fiscal Workplace, therefore the PI configuration of the
deprecated Web Services is no longer needed.
NF-e Outbound: BAdI: Extend B2B Message with Communication Parameters

The BAdI for additional communication parameter (/XNFE/IF_EX_EMAIL_B2B) was enhanced with the following

● A new optional input parameter for event header which will be filled in case of events
