La insurrección proletaria en Asturias», es una de las obras más interesantes y menos conocidas, debido probablemente a que fue escrita en catalán (teniendo un gran éxito y agotándose en pocos meses la edición) y a que nunca había aparecido hasta ahora en castellano, lo que limitó su difusión.Molíns i Fábrega presenta, como él mismo afirma «los hechos y puntos culminantes de la insurrección de Asturias para sacar una lección política necesaria para la clase trabajadora» dadó que «los obreros asturianos fueron los que con mayor firmeza, con mayor seriedad, se prepararon para la lucha que se avecinaba» (como señaló Joáquín Maurín hablando de esta obra).Una obra; pues, imprescindible para comprender el valor y sentido de un movimiento revolucionario tantas veces mal interpretado por la literatura de la reacción que llegó a crear en torno a él una auténtica leyenda negra.
