Abstract Two newspecies of blackflies, Simulium (Gomphostilbia) yuanbaoshanensesp. nov. and S. (G.) longshengensesp. nov. ,
collectedfrom the Guangxi Zhuang Aut. Reg. China, are described. They evidently belong to the batoense group of Simulium
(Gomphostilbia). Thespecific name refers to the typelocality.
Key words Diptera,Simuliidae, Simulium (Gomphostilbia) , newspecies, China.
