Dear Reader,
Ten years is a blink in the eyes of a Blaze heroine, who lives in the moment and
takes what she can from every opportunity. I remember the day very well when
my editor, Brenda Chin, called to talk about a book I already had contracted for
publication as a Temptation Blaze, the precursor to the stand-alone Blaze series
that is now celebrating a decade in print. I’d already started writing the book and
had planned for it to be short and character-focused, like all my Temptations
were. But Brenda was offering me a chance to do something spectacular and
unheard of for a relatively new author: be a part of the Blaze launch! I could not
turn her down.

The resulting book, Exposed, became one of my favorites. I learned to broaden
the scope of the stories I wanted to tell, introduce more plot elements and delve
more deeply into secondary characters. I learned so much and had a great time
writing it! I’m thrilled beyond measure that readers will have an opportunity to
revisit the start of Blaze as well as see how far we’ve come! I’m proud to still be
around after ten years and still doing something new. This book, Too Hot to
Touch, is the first in my Legendary Lovers series, which also happens to be my
first back-to-back trilogy for Blaze.

I consider myself so fortunate to have had an opportunity not only to write a
book for the launch of Blaze, but also for the line’s tenth anniversary. If I can
continue to write these supersexy, sassy books for another ten years and beyond,
I’ll be living a dream!
