LOOKING LIKE A LEADER! Sophomore Adrian
Hawkins leads Mrs. Ansley Rambeau’s English class in
a review of “The Bean Eaters” by Gwendolyn Brooks.
Students were often given the responsibility of leading
class discussions and reviews to help teach leadership.
This also gave them the opportunity to see things from
the teachers’ point of view.
DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE? Juniors Kyle Nelson.
Mark Tunstall, Dan Dyke and Billy Towson watch the
pick-up football game that goes on through both lunch
periods. Not only did it attract many players, it also had
a large following of spectators who appreciated the
enthusiasm with which the students played.

Looking at ths World
THROUGH ANOTHER'S EYES
Everyone had a different outlook on school. To
really make things work, it was important to try and
view our little world through another s eyes. We found
that everything looked different through the eyes of the
beholder.
As we walked down the hall, sneaking a peek at other
worlds and other people, we discovered that with the most
unusual things, seeing was believing. Each student took
turns eyeing the competitor whether it was among fellow
students or one of the opposing schools. We came to
realize that some things we depended on were just optical
illusions. Whatever happened, though, we knew we had all
eyes on us, the beautiful pupils.
