Dear USTA Mid-Atlantic Junior Team Players, Coaches Families, Officials, and Friends,
Green Spring Tennis and Educational Foundation welcomes you to the Mid-Atlantic JTT

Section Championship weekend here at Green Spring Racquet Club. All the volunteers
and staff at GSRC are excited to have you play on our 14 indoor courts and we are
grateful to have outdoor practice courts nearby for your use - directions are on the next page.
Thank you to USTA Mid-Atlantic for organizing this championship. The players and coaches have been
practicing hard and we wish them all good luck! Parents need to be thanked for supporting their children’s
tennis aspirations.

the volunteers who give their time!
The GSRC Pro Shop is offering a 20% discount on all clothing and shoes, and there’s no Maryland sales tax
on clothing and shoes through Saturday! We also have onsite stringing available.
Don’t forget the FREE Players Lunch on Saturday, August 17th from 11:30 to 2:30 pm, served by Jabi Tibo
Café on the club level.
Please Do Not Use the Brick Bodies gym area or equipment unless you purchase a $15 guest pass or $20
for the weekend.
Please try to respect our old building by picking up trash and being gentle when using our courts and
facilities.

Warm–Up Tennis Practice Courts
GSTEF would like to thank St. Paul’s School for Girls and Homeland Racquet Club for the
use of their 8 Hard Courts to warm- up on.
Below are the directions to the courts.
Please follow the rules:
1. Never go onto the Har-Tru Courts
2. Do not use the restrooms or go into the Homeland Racquet clubhouse area
3. Be respectful of the allotted time for teams, 2 courts one hour only, may be
amended if it is busy
4. Listen to GSTEF Volunteers! They may need to shorten time if it is busy!
5. Park only in the designated areas

Homeland Racquet Club Courts
1. From GSRC take a right turn onto
Falls Road north for about 1/4
mile.
2. Take a left turn at the first traffic
light at Seminary Ave. GSRC
3. Pass the St. Paul Plus Preschool
on the left, and take the next left
turn to see the tennis courts on
the left side and also on the right
side across the parking lot.
4. Do not use the Har-Tru courts in
the middle.
