Des weiteren enthält der Band die Novelle »Earthman, Come Home« von James Blish, die 1953 entstand und später als Kapitel 8 (»IMT«) und 9 (»Home«) im gleichnamigen (dritten) Roman des bekannten Zyklus »Cities in Flight« aufgenommen wurde, der großen, vier Bände umfassenden Zukunftsgeschichte des 1975 verstorbenen Autors.
