QI
Qi can be described as universal energy, vital life force energy or simply
energy. Qi is the vital life force or energy that is in all living beings. It is
the energy of life and it runs all through our bodies. But not only that: It is
also the connection between every living thing the universe. It unites our
body, our mind, and our spirit, and it unites us in everything.
YIN & YANG
From the Chinese Metaphysics perspective, given the importance of
“taking everything as a whole,” all things are relative. A thing can be
understood only in relation to something else. This is the essential idea
behind the concept of Yin and Yang.
Yin and Yang mutually oppose and repel one another but still cannot
exist without the other. Together they create a harmonious balance.
For example Man and Woman, Bright and Dark, Positive and Negative,
Passive and Aggressive, Hot and Cold.
THE FIVE ELEMENTS
Chinese Astrology is about studying the relationships between the Qi
