Agradecimiento
Sin ninguna duda, y no podría ser de otra forma, debo comenzar este “capítulo”
agradeciendo sincera y profundamente al Dr. Carlos Vidal Meliá su, para mí magnífica,
dirección de esta tesis doctoral. En un momento en el que, una vez más, me creía perdido
para la investigación, supo rescatarme del ostracismo académico, primero instruyéndome
a modo de maestro en sus investigaciones sobre la perspectiva actuarial de la Seguridad
Social y luego haciéndome partícipe de las mismas. Su supervisión activa y control de los
trabajos, fruto de sus conocimientos y esfuerzo continuado de formación, sus certeros
consejos y la gran confianza depositada, han conseguido un pleno estímulo para la
colaboración en el presente y, espero, en el futuro.
