markus kornprobst holds the Political Science and International
Relations Chair at the Vienna School of International Studies and is the
DeanoftheMasterofAdvancedInternationalStudies.Hisarticlesappear
in top-ranked journals and he has published seven books, most recently
Co-managingInternationalCrises(CambridgeUniversityPress,2019).
vincent pouliot is James McGill Professor in the Department of
Political Science at McGill University. He is the author of International
Pecking Orders: The Politics and Practice of Multilateral Diplomacy
(2016) and International Security in Practice: The Politics of NATO-
Russia Diplomacy (2010), as well as the coeditor of Diplomacy and the
Making of World Politics (2015) and International Practices (2011), all
publishedwithCambridgeUniversityPress.
