About The Unknown Planet
In 1963 it looked like the Russians had a clear lead over the United States in the and “space race, and ” as it was popularly known. However, when America launched the first atomic powered spacecraft, and sent it on a journey to explore the vast unknown reaches of the universe, it was obvious that Uncle Sam was now in the driver’s seat when it came to long range space travel. Unfortunately, after two years of successful exploration and data accumulation the craft developed catastrophic technical difficulties and had to crash land on a previously unknown planet just beyond our own solar system. The only survivors of the crash were the commander of the mission, Dirk Caldwell, a tough as nails ex-Navy fighter pilot, and maintenance worker Pete Walker, a burly but genial member of the support crew. When they discover that the planet is remarkably similar to Earth in most atmospheric conditions it seems like they’ve found the perfect place to shelter while waiting for a rescue party to arrive…until they encounter the local population, who seem to be some sort of primitive tribe with a peculiar penchant for penis worshipping. After being captured by a band of female warriors Caldwell is given the choice to be and “transformed and ” into a woman, and live in the village obeying their every rule and custom, or be put to death. Despite the humiliation involved in being stripped of his manhood Caldwell realizes that his only chance of escape is to accept the gender change and he reluctantly is and “reborn and ” as a village woman named Keira. and “The Unknown Planet and ” is a colorful tribute to the sometimes lurid pulp science fiction of the 1950’s and 60’s, which often featured scantily clad women over hard scientific realities, with author Stacey Zackerly adding her usual gender-bending twist that is both arousing and thought provoking. Charged with erotic energy, 1960’s social sensibilities, and forbidden romance, and “The Unknown Planet and ” is a must for fans of Ms. Zackerly, those who enjoy vintage sci-fi satire, and anyone who appreciates a good and “ripping yarn and ” with a transgender theme. The story contains explicit adult language and situations as well as graphic depictions of sexual activity and is definitely not for children! (Approximately 27,000 words.)
