The name of Imam Khomeini (ra) will always be remembered in human history as an icon of divine scholar who showed all the oppressed nations of the world by his own struggle, a bright path. He gave them hope to liberate themselves from the clutches of arrogant and oppressive governments and alliances. Imam (ra) also uncovered and revived the true Islam brought by Prophet Muhammad (s) after 14 centuries.To prepare this book, for the convenience of readers, Imam’s (ra) arduous journey from the beginning to the end in which he stayed at different places faced various challenges, the speeches of Imam (ra) were categorized into four sections. Section 1 has speeches from the start of his struggle in October 1962 until he was deported from Qom to Turkey in October 1964 and then to Najaf, Iran. It has 13 speeches. Section 2 has his speeches delivered in Shaykh Ansari Mosque, Najaf during nearly 13 years of stay there starting from October 1965 until October 1978 and it has also 13 speeches. Section 3 has his speeches delivered in Neauphle-le-Chateau, France from October, 1978 until February 1, 1979 when he left for Tehran. Interestingly most of his speeches, totaling 64, were delivered during this short period of about 4 months. Section 4 has his speeches on his return from exile during the 10 days of struggle to overthrow the tyrant regime leading to success of Islamic revolution on February 11, 1979. It has 24 speeches. At the end, I have also included his first message to the brave Iranian nation after the success of Islamic Revolution.
