ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Haim Weinberg, PhD, is a Californian and Israeli licensed clinical
psychologist, a group analyst, and a certified group psychotherapist,
who moved to California, in 2006. For the past thirty years he has
worked as a clinical psychologist, providing individual, couple,
family, and group psychotherapy, as well as supervising interns and
junior psychologists. He teaches at the Wright Institute, Berkeley, and
the Alliant International University, Sacramento, as well as directing a
group psychotherapy doctoral programme at the Professional School
of Psychology, Sacramento. He is a past president of the Israeli Group
Psychotherapy Association, and he is Fellow member of The American
Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA), Fellow of the International
Association of Group Psychotherapy (IAGP), Distinguished Fellow of
the Israeli Association of Group therapy, and member of the Group
Analytic Society (GAS).
Haim Weinberg has published more than thirty papers and
co-edited a book on the large group. He is now co-editing a series of
books on the social unconscious, one of the volumes has been
published already. Since 1995 he has been moderating the group
psychotherapy discussion list on the Internet. Haim completed his
PhD studies in the Manchester Metropolitan University about groups,
their cultures, and the Internet unconscious.
