moredtobetheworstclassthatwouldever
gracethehallwaysofBerlinHigh.Wewere
supposedlybadlybehavedandnotagood

Asfreshmen,westumbledthroughthe
newclassesandcoursework.Weworked
harderatpracticeafterschoolthanwehad
everworkedbefore.Wegotinvolved!We
heldfundraisersandraisedmoneyforour
class.Mostimportantly,wesupportedeach
otherwhennooneelsedid.Wereachedout
to one another and helped each other
throughtheroughadjustmentperiod.Our
classwasdeterminednottobebranded
withabadreputation.
Everydayweworkeduntilthelatehours
ofthenight,studying,practicingorrehears-
ing. On the weekends, we relaxed with
friends,wentwildattheschool-sponsored
Wdgaaenmceweses.r,eWoenrowgoloortnkgefedirrehtdhaerudpuanmnaodttiptvlhaaetyeefddoochtlabaradsl.sl
thateveryonethoughtwewere.Ourclass
spurocvceededtointhliefem,itnhastchwoeolhaadndwheavteriytwthaekrees.to
Theteachersandstaffwatchedaswe
learnedlessons,matured,mademistakes,
andfoundourinfluences.Theywatchedus
growintothepeoplewewerestrivingtobe.
Ourclassmateshelpedusthroughthedif-
ficulttimesastryingastheywere.Whether
wewerecrammingforatestlateatnight,or
fretting overa big upcoming game, our
friWenedslewftermeanaylwdaiysstitnhgeurieshfeodrumsa.rksonthis
school.Ourclasshadoneofthemostout-
siptaatnidoinngratSeAtTheavscehroaogleshaadndevcelrassseenp.artWice-
hadanamazingamountofCAPTChamps
andNationalHonorSocietyMembers.We
demolished the rumorthatwe were not
strong academically, and proved our
strengthinotherwaysaswell.
Ourclassmates contributedtothe nu-
merousconferencechampionshipswewon.
Our band and chorus wontrophies and
acowuanrtdrys.atWemussihcowceomdpeotuirtiosntsrenalglthoveinrtthhee
wakeofthetragediesthatoccurredonSep-
tember11,2001.Weledtheway,asour
schoolcollectedmoney,bottledwater,and
clothinginordertohelpthesupporteffort.
