Diversity training began to fully unwind in its arbitrary vilification of the white race as the origin of all evil. If my kind had remained in Europe, a cold land suited to our cold-blood, how enriched the world’s history would have been. The Native Americans would have retained their ancestral lands. The tribes of Africa would not have been raided and enslaved; their continent would have become a unified nation of warriors, rich in culture and bounty. Modern migration from Mexico into the United States was a direct result of the colonial annexation of Texas during the Mexican-American War. How could anyone refer to the migration as ‘illegal immigration’ when Mexicans were simply moving back to land The United States had stolen? White Texans were the illegals who needed to be forced off acreage that rightfully belonged to Mexico. Diversity re-education taught that any white property owner (colonizer) of North America had the obligation to give their land back to Native Americans if it had ever been considered tribal owned. If white ancestors were slave owners, the dwelling and land of their modern kin should be signed over to the descendants of the enslaved. For either scenario, no payment was to be expected. The white (never should have been American!) was to be left derelict, owning only the clothes on their backs and the possessions their hands could carry. They then had a choice: to either be housed on reservation land and live in the squalor to which they had consigned Native Americans or to re-settle back in Europe. I questioned the instructor if any European nation had agreed to an immediate restoration of ancestral citizenship and what would occur to the asylum seeker if such an agreement was not in place. “Die, whitey, die.” Literally, in a cold and calculating voice, that was her response. The class erupted in applause. I immediately thought of my parents and the lean, hard years where we subsided on almost nothing on a barely profitable farm that took all our efforts to retain. I didn’t understand why we should have to surrender title to home and land based solely on the hue of our skin. Diversity training exuded racism, but I was told the concept of racism wasn’t applicable to the white race. Anything could be done to us, and everything should be done to us as vengeance for the sins of our ancestors. Why should any living person be condemned for the crimes of the dead? Was this some new interpretation of the Old Testament belief that children be made to suffer for the trespasses of the father? I inwardly questioned why I was enrolled in diversity training. Why hadn’t I just been led into a public square and shot by a firing squad comprised of my classmates? Was that going to be their final exam, executing an evil white man?
