Your Body Needs BALANCE & the Cleanse Will Give It the Tools It Needs to Regain &
Effortlessly Maintain This Balance
The Five Master Systems
Your body is a complex, interconnected set of processes, all requiring this balance, and
governed by our Five Master Systems:
1. The E___________________ System
2. The D___________________ System
3. The I ____________________System
4. The D ___________________ System
5. The A________ B__________ System
The Triple A Foods (and their evil enemies – Acidity, Inflammation & Oxidative-Stress-
Causing Foods) – this Triple A Method sits above this. It is these foods – these acidic,
inflammatory, oxidative stress-causing foods that disrupt the balance in these powerful,
but delicate systems.
And just a tiny imbalance can cause a huge knock on effect within the body – because
these systems are so connected and related. An imbalance in one can disrupt the
whole body.
A perfect example of imbalance is with acidity – when there is a net acid load – or di-
et-induced acidosis as it’s often called in the research – this means, we’re eating more
acid-forming foods than our body can easily deal with and our pH keeps dipping below

When this happens, as noted in this research study “Examining the relationship
between diet-induced acidosis and cancer” published in Journal of Nutrition &
Metabolism – “Acid-base balance in the body influences adrenal hormone produc-
tion of cortisol. When bicarbonate levels are low the kidneys upregulate glutaminase
activity and trigger cortisol production, leading to chronic high cortisol in the body.”
In other words – when you’re diet is acid-forming, you’re forcing the body into fighting
that – and the kidneys play a huge role in this. A byproduct of the kidney’s regulating
that acidity is the production of glutaminase – which triggers the release of cortisol.
Constant acidity coming in = constant stress to the pH buffering system = constant
stress to the kidneys = constant production of cortisol..
and when you have chronically elevated cortisol levels, not only is this a longterm
HUGE precursor to many of the most common cancers – but elevated cortisol also
massively stresses your adrenals – leading to adrenal fatigue, and the symptoms of
adrenal fatigue include excess weight, chronic fatigue, depression, supressed immu-
nity, digestive issues and more…
And indeed – think of how many of those then have their own knock on effect – just
the extra weight causing an imbalance with your insulin production – which then
knocks onto inflammation which then opens up a whole world of other issues.
And this all starts from acidity – and is just ONE example of how acidity can knock
onto the other systems…
Just look at these other studies – this is just scratching the surface but acidosis is
linked to insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes, cancer, gout, kidney disease, fatigue,
osteoporosis and so much more. It all comes from that imbalance

Pillar One: Nourishing Not P__________________
Most detox or cleanse plans all focus on restriction, eating nothing but one or two
single foods for days – hoping to starve toxins out of the body.
Yuk.
This is ineffective and pits you AGAINST your body. It puts you in direct conflict.
Your body does not want this. It want’s to be nourished and cared for, fuelled and
fed.
When you try the traditional detox method – you instantly shroud yourself, your body,
the whole experience in negativity. Restrictions, cravings, willpower, headaches,

mood swings, fatigue…you have to ‘push through’ and ‘tough it out’.
This is the opposite of the Alkaline Reset Cleanse.
When you do my alkaline cleanse, you are in a world of positivity, abundance, light-
ness, energy and you’re working with your body as a TEAM, together, which is what it
should be all about.
On the Alkaline Cleanse you are focusing on getting an ABUNDANCE of nutrients, as
much nourishment into your body as possible, for the period of seven days – tons of
goodness – to support your body.
Pillar Two: Mega Fuelling with:
On the alkaline cleanse you are going to be super-nourishing your body all day every
day with an abundance of :

These three meal-types will mean your cleanse is incredibly packed with vitamins,
minerals, chlorophyll, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, alkaline, immune-boosting, de-
toxifying, hormone-balancing, fat-burning, digestive healing goodness!
Plus they’re super quick and easy to make, require very little cleaning or fuss, and
they leave you to get on with enjoying the immense energy the cleanse brings!
Pillar Three: Real, Whole Foods
In the cleanse we use the power of nature. Nature is amazing, your body is amazing,
you are amazing – you just need to give your body the abundance of nourishment that
already exists in nature – and it will repay you with interest!
It really bugs me to see so-called ‘detox plans’ that are basically just a ton of supple-
ments you take each day. Again – this – isn’t what the body wants, or needs. The
body simply wants you to fuel it with nature.
I know you believe in this. You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t believe in the incredible
strength and power of natural whole foods and nature.
There is nothing wrong with supplements, but they are there to supplement – the clue
is in the name! They are not there to replace.

Pillar Four: Zero Acidic, Inflammatory or Oxidative Stress-Causing
Foods or Drinks
This pillar is easy. You focus ONLY on the abundance of the amazing foods in the
cleanse, consuming ONLY those power packed juices, soups and smoothies – and
nothing else. You don’t go hungry, you don’t experience cravings (if you followed the
‘Crowd Out the Bad’ from video lesson one for at least a week, your cravings will be
WAY less) and it eliminates any of the confusion and overwhelm.
Don’t worry about what you can’t have – I’ve taken care of that for you! Just focus
on the stuff you CAN have in the cleanse (and there are my Cleanse Basic Recipes
below) and you’ll be GREAT!
You will naturally eliminate: sugar, gluten, processed foods, toxic foods, packaged
foods, fast foods, microwave meals, chips, pizza, soda, alcohol, caffeine, cakes, jams,
breads, cookies, chocolate and everything else! There is no list you have to memo-
rise or wonder – is this in or out?
It’s all clear and taken care of.
Pillar Five: MEGA-Hydration!
While you’ll be getting lots of hydration from the juices, soups and smoothies in the
cleanse….hydration is still critical!
You need to be aiming to have around 3-4 litres (100-135 fl oz) per day during the
cleanse.
If the foods get the toxins up and ready to go – the hydration greatly assists the body
in eliminating them.
I recommend setting up a routine, and making sure you ALWAYS have a glass of wa-
ter every time you do action X.
i.e. when I wake up I have a glass of water…when I get to my office desk I have a
glass of water…when I clean my teeth morning and night I have a glass of water….
PLUS herbal teas, turmeric teas & tonics – these are your friend too. Have these
throughout the day – they’re soothing, warming and relaxing.
And be warned – JUST THIS LEVEL OF HYDRATION ALONE WILL SKYROCKET
YOUR ENERGY! It’s just plain awesome!

easily make hundreds of cleanse recipes.

Focusing for seven days on these nutrient-dense juices, soups and smoothies – you will
be full, satisfied, energised and most importantly you’ll be powerfully resetting your body,

Review of What We’ve Learned So Far...
In Lesson One we learned that the body craves BALANCE. It is the constant
taking out of balance and the journey back to balance that causes the stress in the
body that results in sickness, disease and the myriad of health challenges we face
today.

We learned that the root cause of practically every imbalance (and therefore condi-
tion, challenge and the thing preventing us from reaching our goals) has ACIDITY,
INFLAMMATION and OXIDATIVE STRESS at the root cause.
The antidote to this is the Triple A Method - foods that are Alkaline, Anti-
Inflammatory and Antioxidant-Rich.
We also learned the Crowd Out the Bad method for reversing those three factors
and starting to infuse your body with those Triple A’s.
By doing this, you start to effortlessly prepare and prime your body for the cleanse.
This is a basic overview of the BEFORE stage of the Alkaline Reset Cleanse.
Today, in Lesson Two we have learned WHERE the imbalance is occurring - the

The Five Master Systems
In Video One I taught you that the body craves BALANCE.
We’re not talking about a magazine article’s “balanced diet” – we’re talking about the crit-
ical, myriad of delicate balances WITHIN your body – those balances that your body HAS
to maintain every second of every day – your heart rate, the volume of immune cells, the
balance of your hormones, the balance of good to bad bacteria, the balance of free radi-
cals and natural killer cells, the balance of your pH …
The number one goal – in fact, the absolute paramount necessity of your body is to
maintain all of these delicate, but very strict balances – and it will do whatever it takes to
maintain them. No matter the long-term cost, your body will sacrifice that to maintain this
balance.
This is critical to understand and know – it is the constant stress we put our body under by
eating and drinking and living in a way that knocks these balances out – the stress for your
body to REGAIN the balance – this is where the damage is done.
The health of your body is completely, overwhelmingly, unquestionably determined by the
health of what I call your Five Master Systems - and here’s wht they are: [SLIDES]
- Your Endocrine System: the system of glands and organs that regulates the pro-
duction of hormones in your body – from your adrenals, thyroid and hypothalamus, pro-
ducing hormones like insulin, leptin, ghrelin and cortisol. An imbalance ANYWHERE here
and you’re facing a huge uphill battle – these hormones are SO influential and so easily
disrupted.
- Your Digestive System – starting from the salivary glands in your mouth through
to your gut, your pancreas, duodenum, large intestine and out of your body – this is where
SO MUCH of your body’s functioning, including parts of the endocrine system resides -
and it’s responsible for getting the nutrients out of the foods you eat and into use in your
body. If this is stuffed and clogged, and you can’t properly absorb the nutrients you DO
eat? you’re going to be going nowhere fast.
