It is like getting a baby kitten, rearing it, and find out then that it likes chasing and killing mice.Anyway , this version of the affair leaves Fitzwilliam with three women under his care, and as the three were his friends, at least, he does his best to protect them. Find out how that ends.In real life, among people I Knew, it often finishes up on the front page of newspapers, and with battered bodies. It still intrigues. The Austen-invented names are used, but the characters are different, and act differently. Mr. Collins is even more evil and demented, unable to fulfil his fantasies. Short story with little filling, and not suitable for children, they must be protected against knowing what real life is like.
