Attheageofninety-three,asIdrawneartheconclusionofmylongcareer
ofteachingandwritingphilosophy,manyofmycolleagueshaveurgedme
to select and publish in one place what I consider the most significant
articlesamongtheseventyorsoIhavewrittenalready—notallpublished.
Thisistheresult.Ihavechosentwelvearticlesalreadypublishedandfour
newones,coveringafairlywidespectrumoftopics.Althoughtheydonot
all treat directly with Saint Thomas himself, they are all what I would
describeas‘‘Thomisticallyinspired.’’Ihopetheymayfurthersignificantly
broaden the spectrum of writings available to the Thomistic community
andothers.
