ofalternative healinc] therapies. It comes as no surprise to one who has worked in thisfield
for so many years that public enthusiasmfor the natural therapies has steadily increased.
The lifeforces around us - which cannot always he simply explained - are rich, mysterious, and A
complex. Many ofus are instinctively receptive to theseforces and are inclined to reject the
increasingly alarming developments in medical science. We all know that our body has the ability to
heal itselfand that increasingly invasive and complex medical procedures can do more harm than good.
When one considers physical therapies such as chiropractic and osteopathy, both of which have
enjoyed considerable and sustained successes over many decades, it is very clear that medical
