tu's (NEWMAN, 1844) ineasternCanadaand thenortheastern UnitedStates, and S
ko/tzel'(HEYDEN, l887)ineasternSiberia,Sakhalin,northeasternChina,Korea,Hok-

Aftercomparingseriesofspecimensof,・Mg/pe'77'1sand/(o/「ze',Ihavecometothe
conclusionthatthesetwo formsshouldberegardedastwodistinctspeciesbecauseof
differencesintheproportional lengthsoftheantennalsegmentsandinproportionsof
thewidthandlengthoftheprothoraxandelytra.

is similar to the monotypic genus, Xe11oleptu1'a DANILEvsKY, LoBANov et MURzIN,
1981inlarval characters, andproposedthat thetwogenera,Sac/fail,1obiaand Xe/1-

(HEYDEN,1887)は,GRESSITT(1953)により, カナダ東部とアメリカ北束部に分布するホクベイァラ
メハナカミキリS ru9iPennis(NEWMAN,1844)のfill要j,として取り扱われた. その後, 両者はlflj種あ
るいは lとして扱われてきたが,両者を識別するための有効な特徴の記述がなかった. 多数の両者の

的相建: と分布状態 (異所的分一布による生殖隔離) により, 両者を独立極とみなした.
