BIOGRAPHY
Dr Shweta Agarwal is working as Assistant
Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Isa-
bella Thobrum College, University of Lucknow,
Lucknow, India Her research interest includes
synthesis of heterocyclic compounds for Me-
dicinal and Material purposes.
Dr Sangeeta Bajpai is a faculty of Chemistry
working with Amity University, Lucknow
Campus, India. Her research area includes
Supramolecular Organotellurium Chemistry,
Coordination Chemistry, Macrocyclic Chemis-
try and Studies of Medicinal Plants.
Dr Kishor Chandra Bharadwaj obtained his
PhD under the guidance of Dr. Ganesh Pandey at
National Chemical Laboratory, Pune. Presently
he is working as a CSIR pool scientist at Banaras
Hindu University. His research interest includes
development of synthetic methodologies.
Dr Rashmi Dubey is a postdoctoral fellow in
the Institute of Pharmacy, Guru Ghasidas Cen-
tral University, Bilaspur. She was also associated
with Department of applied Chemistry, Sejong
University, Seoul, Korea. She has published 13
papers in peer reviewed journals and have the
credit of 8 patents (4 US, 2 European, and 2
Korean).

Ms Archana Gaurav submitted her Ph.D. thesis
under the supervision of Dr Ashish Kumar
Tewari. She is working as SRF under Rajiv
Gandhi National Fellowship scheme. Her field
of research is medicinal chemistry and supra-
molecular chemistry. She has developed some
self assembly of supramolecular synthones.
Dr Anil Kumar Gupta is Senior Principal Scien-
tist in Genetics and Plant Breeding Division,
CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aro-
matic Plant, Lucknow. He did more than 10 years
work on medicinal plant breeding (especially
Artemisia, Phyllanthus, Rauvolfia, Silybum etc) and
MAP’s conservation). He has also developed 8
varieties of medicinal and aromatic plants.
Dr Atul Gupta is a Scientist in the Department
of Medicinal Chemistry, CSIR-Central Insti-
tute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Luc-
know, India. His research interest includes
synthesis of bioactive leads and isolation of nat-
ural compounds for Medicinal applications. He
has published his research findings in journals
of international repute.
Ms Tanu Gupta is presently pursuing her doc-
toral degree at Banaras Hindu University. Her
research work includes synthesis of quionline
annulated frameworks using Morita Baylis Hill-
man derived templates.

Mr Anupam Kujur is a Ph.D. scholar in the
Department of Botany at the Banaras Hindu
University, Varanasi, India. He received his Mas-
ter’s degree in Botany from Banaras Hindu
University, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has
authored/co-authored a number of research
articles in SCI journals.
Dr Akhileshwar Kumar is associated with
Augusta University (formerly, Georgia Regents
University) in Augusta, GA, USA. His research
specialization is primarily concerned with
genetics, metabolomics, bioinformatics, molec-
ular biology and histopathological evaluations
and their adaptations to stress conditions.
Dr Ranjeet Kumar presently is a SERB-
National Post Doctoral Fellow with Prof. T. N.
Guru Row at Indian Institute of Science Ban-
galore. His research interest includes co-crystal-
lization, polymorphs growth, salt formation and
dimerization of anticancer APIs-excipients for
successful drug delivery, as well as development
of models based organic compounds and their
conformational studies.
Mr Rakesh Kumar is working as a faculty and
pursuing Ph.D. in Nano medicine from Depart-
ment of Chemistry, Amity School of Applied
Sciences, Amity University Haryana. Earlier, He
received two MS degrees from University of
Montana, US, in MS Interdisciplinary studies
(2009) and MS Chemistry (2013).

Ms Manisha Mann is a Ph.D. Scholar in Depart-
ment of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Forensic
Sciences at Amity University, Haryana. Her
research work includes analysis of fraudulent
documents by examining the sequence of
strokes.
Ms Simpi Mehta is presently perusing her doc-
toral degree at Department of Chemistry, Amity
School of Applied Sciences, Amity University,
Haryana, India. Her research work includes
Design, Synthesis & Characterization of selected
Novel Coumarin Derivatives as Anti-cancerous
Agents.
Ms Ritu Mishra is perusing her Ph.D. from
AcSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aro-
matic Plants, Lucknow, under supervision of
Dr. Anil Kumar Gupta. She has four and half
year of research experience. She has 10 publica-
tions in SCI journals. She has involvement in 2
released variety of Curcuma (CIM-Pitamber)
and Artemisia (CIM-Sanjeevani) plant.
Dr Seema R. Pathak is a Professor & Head,
Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry &
Forensic Science at Amity School of Applied
Science, Amity University Haryana, India. Her
research focuses on development and designing
of new drug molecules. She did a significant
contribution in field of medicinal chemistry.

Dr Sudhir Kumar Pandey is presently associ-
ated with Guru Ghasidas Central University as
Assistant Professor in Department of Botany,
School of Life Sciences. His research focuses on
analysis of emerging air contaminants, plant-
atmosphere exchange of trace gases, and foliar
transfer of airborne toxic metals.
Dr Bhanu Prakash is an Assistant Professor in
the Botany Department, Institute of Science,
Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. His
research covers multidisciplinary areas, includ-
ing food microbiology, antioxidant, enzymatic
and functional evaluation of plant derived bio-
active compounds.
Dr Sunil Kumar Rai obtained his doctoral
degree from Banaras Hindu University and is
presently a post doctoral fellow at National
Chemical Laboratory, Pune where he is work-
ing on multi-component cocrystals and poly-
morphs study of active pharmaceutical
ingredients (APIs) to improve their solubility
and bioavailability.
Mr Gereraj SenGupta is presently pursuing
his doctoral degree from Banaras Hindu Uni-
versity in the field of Eco-toxicology. His work
is focussed on response of different varieties of
crop plants to abiotic stress, especially the vari-
ations of the different plant components under
stress conditions.
