Abstract
RecentsurveysfortheElthamcopperbutterflyParaluciapyrodiscuslucidaCrosbyhaverevealedseveralpievi-
ouslyunknownpopulations in theWimmera (1), near Castlemaine (4) and near Bendigo (1). Theirsignifi-
canceisdiscussedinrelationtothebutterfly’sconservationandmanagement, includingdesignoffuelreduc-

Introduction
