There is a major characteristic on this new catalogue:
First main categories are classifi ed based on steel types beginning with the unique
characteristics of each types of steel in relation to its welding properties. Next is the
introduction of their associated soldering irons along with the explanation of the welding
material products. We differentiate our catalog from the traditional ones by using the
innovated approach of “consumer customization,” in which the design the catalog is
based on how our customers will like to receive the order of information. Therefore, the
order of introduction is from the main material-steel type to the appropriate associated
welding materials, and lastly, the properties of the welding materials. In order to include
more related technical information, we reduce the marketing information on the welding
materials; and hence, the customers can make a better informed decision based on their
actual needs rather than sales propaganda.
The followings are reminding notes on application:
• AWS is currently adopting both US Customary Unit and International System Unit (SI
System). In order to promulgate the International System, we will maximize the usage of
its specifi cations in the future. This catalog will still contain both Standards’ specifi cations.
For example, A5.4 denotes US Customary unit and A5.4M represents the International
System Unit.
• Specifications and testing results of products in the catalog are according to our own
company's field test performance. Actual result might vary according to each client's
actual usage. Our testing results are for referential purpose, not a guarantee of
performance.
• Certain product names are hyphenated for the purpose of separating products names
verses descriptions or specifications, not part of the product names or codes. For
instance: GS-12K=GS12K.
• This edition of catalog contains the most updated information at the time of publication.
However, due to AWS, JIS, and other related Standards’ constant modifi cation of their
codes, and the need for our company to add or improve our products continually, we
cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of the catalog information. We also reserve
the right to make any changes to our catalogs without notifi cation. If customers need the
