Dear Parish Members and Friends of Saint Jude,

It is with utmost pleasure that I welcome you to our eleventh
Annual Saint Jude the Apostle Gala! A very special welcome to
all friends and guests of our parish for joining us in our Gala
Banquet Feast! This is such a fun-filled night and a terrific
community-building event!

My heartfelt thanks to our Gala Chairs, Erin and Jonathan Groth
and Kathryn and Kevin Lenci, together with the members of the
Gala Committee, for all their time and energy in preparing this
splendid night for us. My deepest gratitude as well to the many
donors of tonight’s auction and to all the volunteers.

May this Gala celebration bring joy to our hearts while helping
to sustain the many ministries and gifts we share at Saint Jude
the Apostle Parish & School.

Thank you to everyone for your kind support and for making
this festive fall gathering possible!

Dear Friends,

Welcome and good evening! It is with joy and excitement that we
greet you with tonight at the 11th annual Saint Jude the Apostle Gala!

We are honored and humbled to serve as the chairs for the Gala! We
hope you truly experience all our wonderful parish community has to
offer this evening.

Tonight, we ask you to pray together, break bread with each other,
laugh and rejoice, and enjoy fellowship with your friends, family and
fellow parishioners. We would like to take a moment as this event
begins its second decade to ask you to help. Our parish thrives
because of its wonderful members. If you are not involved in a
volunteer effort here at Saint Jude the Apostle, please consider helping
as you are able and willing. We promise, there is something for
everyone, and we need and want your help! Get involved, you will not
regret it! Our two years co-chairing the Gala have been rewarding in
too many ways to list, we are forever grateful for the opportunity to
serve you and Saint Jude the Apostle parish.

We could not possibly put into words our gratitude to the Gala
Committee. The amount of work that goes into organizing
committees and volunteers, and shaping the vision for the evening is
a phenomenal effort undertaken by a remarkable group of dedicated
ladies and gentlemen. Thank you to everyone!

Please know how much your support means not only to us, but to all
of the people you will help in our parish community with your
generosity!

volunteered since the program went to print. We apologize if we have

FUND-A-CAUSE
Building a Strong Foundation ... Spiritually & Physically

Our mission as Saint Jude the Apostle Parish and School is to grow
together in our faith in Jesus Christ, to spread the Gospel and pass on
our Catholic faith tradition to our children. We are partners in
building upon the spiritual tradition our ancestors have handed on to
us.

With this spiritual foundation as Church, we also must attend to the
physical resources of our parish campus. Those who attended last
year’s Gala may remember our Fund-a-Cause focused on building a
strong foundation for our Safety and Security initiatives. Because of
your generosity, the first phase of our project was completed this past
summer. Twenty-three new security cameras, a central monitor, and
computer server and software equipment were installed throughout
the entire campus. We are now able to observe, monitor and record
activities inside the buildings as well as outside. In addition, our
public address system and two-way radios were updated and
replaced so that classroom teachers, office staff, security personnel
and the health room coordinator are able to communicate on a daily
basis and in case of an emergency.

This year we would like to expand on last year’s theme to encompass
building a stronger foundation as it relates to our physical
environment for the church and school. While enjoying the ambience
of the beautiful Gala setting, many can recognize that there are areas
of our campus in definite need of upgrading, repair and refurbishing.
It is our goal to make certain the infrastructure of our buildings is safe
and that we also provide an environment which is conducive to
