l. Remove the magazine. Cycle the bolt
and engaget he safety. Use the accessh ole
in the rear of the trigger guard to pry the
guard out.
2. Pull the triggerg uard
forwarda ndd ownwardo ut of
theb ottom. It will be a tieht fit.

the stock. Somea re

action out of the stock
can affect accuracv.

Push forward on the operating rod spring guide
and spring to relieve the pressureo ff of the
connectorlo ck.
5. Use the connectorl ock pin to push the connectorl ock to the
left (bottom view). This will releaset he operatingr od spring
guide and its spring,t ake it out toward the rear.
6. Move the operatingr od to the notch shown.
7. Pushu pwardo n the operatingr od andt henp ull it out to
ther ight andr emovei t from the action.

piece. Tap from the right
with a drift and remove the
elevatingp inion assembly.
If your model doesn ot have
this part, then the elevation
knob is unscrewedf rom the
windaeek nob.

into the groove on the action.

with the mainspringo ut of the trigger

21. Do not removet he searf rom thet rigger,u nlessf or repairs.
22. Pushout the hammerp ivot pin to
the right. Move the trigger guard
toward the rear (it doesn ot comeo ff at
this time) and then move the hammer
toward the rear and upward toward the
right for removal.
23. Placet he safetvi n the off
position then tilt it and move it out of the trigger housing.
24. Removeth eg uarda t the angles hown.

26. Orift out the magazinela tchp in andr emovet he
magazinela tch andi ts spring. The springi s under
tensionr,e taint hel atcha st he drift is removed.

Placet he firing pin in first. Thent he ejectora ndi ts spring. Thent he extractorp lunger
andi ts spring. Havinga secondp ersonis helpful. Placet he extractork, eepinga thumb
on thet op of it. Usea flat surfaceto hold the ejectorin place. Pushd owno n thee xtractor
while the secondp ersonu sesa smallt ool to pusht he extractopr lungera nds pring.W hen
all of thesea red onet he extractors lidese asilyi n place.
The rear sightc over is the thin metalp iecet hat fits into the
grooveo n the action.
