The publications within “Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing” are
primarily proceedings of important conferences, symposia and congresses. They
cover significant recent developments in the field, both of a foundational and
applicable character. An important characteristic feature of the series is the short
publication time and world-wide distribution. This permits a rapid and broad
dissemination of research results.

Preface
It is a sheer pleasure announcing receipt of an overwhelming response from aca-
demiciansandresearchersofreputedinstitutesandorganizationsofthecountryand
abroadforjoiningusinthe6thInternationalConferenceonAdvancedComputing,
Networking, and Informatics (ICACNI 2018), which makes us feel that our
endeavor is successful. The conference organized jointly by the Department of
Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology Silchar, and
Centre for Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, National Institute of
Technology Rourkela, during June 04–06, 2018, certainly achieves a landmark
toward bringing researchers, academicians, and practitioners in the same platform.
Wehavereceivedmorethan400researcharticlesandverystringentlyhaveselected
through peer review the best articles for presentation and publication. We, unfor-

our conference for the sixth year. The articles presented in the two volumes of the
proceedings discuss the cutting-edge technologies and recent advances in the
domain of the conference. We conclude with our heartiest thanks to everyone
associated with the conference and seeking their support to organize the 7th
ICACNI 2019 at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani, India,
during December 20–21, 2019.
