Readilydistinguishable fromall thehithertoknownracesof ltzlnger1BREuNING
(nominotypica1subspecies、rugu1os1o1-DEUvEandta11akai IMURA)bymuchmorede-
generatedelytra1sculpture. 0therwise, thenewsubspecies ismost closelyalliedto
subsp rugu1os1ordescribedfromtheHengduanMountains butisdistinguishablefrom
that racebythe followingpoints:1)vertexmoresparselypunctate;2) frontanglesof
pronotum a littlemoreobtusely rounded; 3) basal foveaeofpronotumdeeper; 4)
pronota1disc notstrongly rugu1osebutmoreobviously punctate: 5) apical thirdof
aedeagusmuchmoredeeplyconcavelatero-ventradattherightside.

Distinguishable fromsubsp hengduanlcolaDEuvE(typelocality:Mt.Hengduan
Shan,environsdoYanmen,3,700m)bythefollowingpoints:1)dorsalsurfaceofhead
andpronotummorestrongly andcoarselyrugulose,2)pronotuma littlewider, less
stronglysinuatebeforehindangles.withthebasal foveaeshallower; 3)elytramore
roughlysculpture withthetertiaryintervalsobviouslyweaker thanthesecondaries;
4)aedeaguswiththeapicallobenarrowerandtheostiumlobesmaller.

frequentlysegmentecL,tertiariesmoreprominentlyrecognizableasrowsofgranules;5)
fourthsegmentsofmale foretarsiwithouthairpadsontheventralsurface;6)median
Portionofaedeagusmuchlonger.Fromsubspvail,nenenslsDEUvE(typelocality:Mt.
HengduanShan,environsdeYanmen3,700), thenewraceisreadilydiscriminatedby

muchsmoother:2)pronotumalittlemoretransverse、withthe frontanglesmoreob-
tuselyrounded,lateralsidesmoreroundlyarcuatehindanglesshorterandlesssharply

井村有希:中国南西部の高山帯から発見されたオサムシの6新分類単位. - 中国云南省北
西部と西蔵自治区南東部の高山帯から得られたオサムシのなかに6新亜極 (ドゥガネオサムシ,
チベットオサムシおよびヌバタマキンオサムシの各亜属) を認め, 記載した.
