This, the first ofthe "S.C.F." Philatelic Handbooks,

guide to the postage stamps of Slam, and a worthy
addition to the number of Mr. Melville's popular
philatelic books. To such a work no introduction is
necessary, liut it may be said that further volumes
in the series will be published as opportunities occur.
