Abstract Scebura cephata is newly recorded from the Malay Peninsul aT.he key for the separation
of the specics of Scobura in Malaysia is revised.

fourth species cephata (Fig s1-2) is fbund and reported here.

Scobura phiditi awas also collected at the same locali taybout a month earlier, 1 \, 1 1 Aug,,
1987. S. cephata has been recorded from Sikkim, Assam andAtaran (Evan s1,949). It sup-
posed to be presen tin Thailand as well, but two major publications of Thailand butterflies
illustra mtiesidentifi esdpecimens. Pinratana (1985 i)llustra toenlsy the dorsa lside, but the
figur e(pl 2.3, no, 138) seems to be isota .Plate 363, H164 of Ek-Amnuay (2006 d)efinitely
shows characteristics of isot aas indicate din the key below.
The key for the separation of the species of Scob"ra (Eli o1t9,92) is reyised.

マ レー半島か らは従来 3種，Scobura　phiditia，　S．・isota　S．　woottetti が記録 されてい たが 第4の種S，　cepa −
hataが見つ かっ たの で報告する．それに伴い ，マ レー，半島の 図鑑 （Elio，t1992）の種の検，索表を訂正 した．
