Gabor Mate, M.D., is a physician and psychotherapist in Vancouver, British
Columbia. He was a longtime medical columnist for the Vancouver Sun and the
Globe and Mail, Canada’s national newspaper. Dr. Mate lives in Vancouver with
his wife and three children.
