A new species,S axifraga ganeshii (Saxifragaceae),b elonging to the section
Ciliatae,is described from Ganesh Himal,ce ntral Nepa .l

The genus Saxifraga is the most diversi- nigroglandulosa,a nd S. tsαngchanensis are
fied genus in the alpine region of Nepal summarized in Table 1.
