A new species，S axifraga ganeshii (Saxifragaceae)，b elonging to the section
Ciliatae，is described from Ganesh Himal，ce ntral Nepa .l

The genus Saxifraga is the most diversi- nigroglandulosa，a nd S. tsαngchanensis are
fied genus in the alpine region of Nepal summarized in Table 1.
