worried for my sanity. Not that I blame her. Wolfe and I demolished the living room.
I live with Lily and Knox and moved to the bedroom farthest from their love nest. I swear they
bang each other fifty-thousand times a day. Honestly, the two of them are shameless, going at it like
rabbits day and night.
Meanwhile, my sex life is as dry as the Sahara. That’s the fault of the frustrating man who knows
exactly what buttons to push to get me riled up.
“I’m fine.” I stomp into my room, arms folded across my chest, heat rising in my cheeks. It’s not
anger.
I’m hot, bothered, and aroused—turned on by the only physical contact I allow myself with the
wolfish Wolfe.
What an appropriate name.
The man is a mangy half-breed—if we’re calling a mangy half-breed the sexiest man alive. The
bastard is good-looking, and he knows it. Like, drool-worthy good. Lord knows I’ve spent far too
many nights salivating over the bastard.
“You don’t look fine.” Lily looks tiny in Knox’s robe.
No doubt that little spat between Wolfe and I broke up another of Lily and Knox’s sex-capades.
I turn on my best friend in the whole universe, needing an outlet for my anger. Not that she
deserves to bear the brunt of this messy situation.
“Really?” I pointedly check out her attire. “You couldn’t wait for the party to be over before
fucking each other’s brains out?”
“Jinx, that’s not …”
“Not true? Or not fair?” I give her an out, but she won’t deny the truth to my face.
“It’s not fair.” As expected, Lily’s cheeks flush, moving toward bright crimson as I point to her
boobs, which are trying their hardest to escape the terry cloth robe.
“I knew it.”
“We were fucking each other’s brains out when you and Wolfe started World War III in the living
room. What’s up with the two of you, anyway?”
“Nothing.” I stomp over to the window and pull back the drape.
I keep it closed as much as possible, opening it only to drive Wolfe crazy. Fucking perv likes to
jack off while watching me undress, and I get off on him getting off on me.
It’s some fucked up twisted shit. Lily’s not wrong about that.
