Preface
This volume contains the papers of the 10th InternationalConference on Computing
andInformationTechnology(IC2IT2014).IC2ITisanannualconference,whichisheld
inconjunctionwiththeNationalConferenceonComputingandInformationTechnol-
ogy(NCCIT),oneoftheleadingThainationaleventsintheareaofComputerScience
andEngineering.IC2ITprovidesavenueforthepresentationanddiscussionofcurrent
researchinthefieldofcomputingandinformationtechnology.
IC2IT2014tookplacebetween8th and9th MayatAngsanaLaguna,Phuket,Thai-
land.ThisisthefirsttimethattheconferenceislocatedintheSouthofThailand.Fol-
lowing the interests of our participantsof the last events, IC2IT2014proceedingshas
beenstructuredintofivemaintracks:DataMiningAlgorithmsandMethods,Applica-
tion of Data Mining, Infrastructuresand Performance,Text Analysis and Search, and
Security.Also, we are delightedto announcethatthe conferencegota large financial
supportbythe Thaigovernmentwith the aim of encouragingand improvingresearch
intheASEANcountries.
AlthoughthesupportforthedevelopmentofASEANandAEC(ASEANEconomic
Community)areinthefocusoftheconference,thecommitteereceived96submissions
fromauthorsof25countriesat5continents.Thestablenumberofcontributionsoverthe
lastyearsisanindicatorthatoureventiswellestablishedinthescientificcommunity;
withrespecttotheexplodingnumberofconferencesweareproudonthatinparticular.
Asusual,eachsubmissionwasreviewedbyatleast2-4membersoftheprogramcom-
mittee to avoid contradictoryresults. On these suggestions, the committee decided to
accept32papersfororalpresentationandinclusionintheconferenceproceedings.
Again,Springeragreedtopublishourproceedingsinitswell-establishedandworld-
widedistributedseriesonAdvancesinIntelligentSystemsandComputing.Lastbutnot
least, two internationallywell-known scientists, from Germany and Japan, have been
invitedandacceptedtogivekeynotetalkstoourparticipants.
A special thank is given to KMUTNB and its President, Professor Dr. Teeravuti
Boonyasoponforhissupportofourconferencefromthefirstyearon,andforproviding
us with a lot of resources from KMUTNB. We hope that IC2IT again provides great
opportunitiesforacademicstaff,studentsandresearcherstopresenttheirwork.IC2IT
isalsoaplatformforexchangeofknowledgeinthefieldofcomputerandinformation

technologyand shall inspire researchersto generate new ideas and findingsand meet
partnersforfuturecollaboration.Wealsohopethatourparticipantsusethisoccasionto
learnmoreaboutPhuketanditsbeautifulscenery,people,cultureandvisititsfamous
beachesbeforeoraftertheconference.
We would also like to thank all authors for their submissions and the members of
the programcommittee for their great work and valuable time. The staff members of
