Thisbookcontainstheproceedingsoforiginalpaperspresentedatthe53rdAnnualMeet-
ingoftheItalianElectronicsSociety(SIE),heldinPizzo(VV),Italy,duringSeptember
7–9, 2022. The SIE (formerly the Italian Electronics Group), founded in 2011, is a
non-profit association whose institutional aims are the promotion and development of
training,researchandtechnologytransferactivitiesinthefieldofelectronics.
TheSIE-2022AnnualMeetingincludedinvitedlecturesinvolvingexpertsinstate-of-
the-arttopics,oralsessions,roundtables,livedemonstrationsandselectedexpositions,
withthegoalofcomplementingtheregularprogramwithemergingtopicsofparticular
interest to the Italian Electronics community. The conference received a total of 57
