MostExcellentCompanionJustuswasbornonFebruary18,1948inCircleville,Ohio,
the son of Jean W. and Dorothy Justus. He is a graduate of Westfall High School and
attendedOhioStateUniversity.
He married his high school sweet heart Sharon and their marriage was blessed with
threechildren– Christina(August1,1967),Craig(November25,1969)and Jason(July
4,1978.)
He is currently employed as a training specialist for E.I. Dupont Corporation. A
member of the Fist Presbyterian Church, he has taken an active roll in the American
CancerSocietyandservedonthe4HAdvisoryCommitteeforPickawayCounty.

The Committee on Credentials is pleased to report that there are present and

of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, which is thirty (30) or more

189thAnnualGrandConvocationoftheGrandChapteralargenumberofdistinguished
representatives from this and other jurisdictions, to all of whom is extended a most

At the direction of the Grand High Priest, Right Excellent Companion Ralph M.

of the State of Ohio duly opened in ample form for the transaction of such business as

TheGrandHighPriestthendirectedtheCompanionstocometoorderandgivetheir
attention to Rt. Ex. CompanionF. Raymond Sharritts, Grand Chaplain, whooffered the
followinginvocation:
INVOCATION
“Companions,letuspray. SupremeHighPriestofheavenandearth,enlightenuswith
the knowledge of his truth and grant that the members of this Convocation may be
endued with wisdomto understand the mysteries of our HolyOrder. We invite you to
discernourthoughtsandplaceuponourheartsthewilltobefaithfultoourobligationsto
you,andtoourcompanions. Giveusclearandcreativemindsasweaddressthetasksof
theday. We ask your blessinguponusaswepassthe mantleofresponsibilityto new
leadership. Wethankyouforyourfaithfulpresenceduringthispastyear- inourtimes

CommentsontheAltarbyGrandHighPriestJustus
Most Excellent Companion Justus made the following comments about the Altar
beingusedattheGrandConvocation:
“The altar, you see before us was made in 1985. It comes from the 8th Masonic
District, made byWorshipful Brother Chick Dais. He is no longer with us and was an
outstandingwoodworker. IfyoueverhavetheopportunitytovisitCedarvilleLodge.he
made the altar for that Lodge. The altar you see before us was made for Most
Worshipful Brother Robert See when he was Grand Master from the Eighth Masonic
District. IhavehauledthatAltararoundtheentirestateofOhio,becauseduringhisyear
I was president of the district. It's been to dedications, rededications and other special
eventsandwehavebroughtitheretoday. Ifyougettheopportunitystopandlookatit.
It'sabeautifulpieceofwork.
Also, for its significance, we're using red, white, and blue candles to remember our
servicemenandwomenwhoareinIraqdefendingourcountry.”
