Arun Local Plan 2011 to 2013 - Submission Document - Modifications for the Inspector
- March 2017
This is a draft working document produced to show how the matters raised by the Inspector
during the course of the Examination into the Arun Local Plan 2011 to 2031 can be addressed
by Main Modifications. The document also includes Minor Modifications of updated text,
grammar and corrections that are needed to ensure that the document is up to date and
usable when it is adopted. These modifications both Main and Minor are shown on the
document for ease of understanding for the reader. The document should be read alongside
the Main Modifications table which are the only changes that are available for comments. All
modifications are suggestions and have been approved by Arun District Council to be
presented to the Inspector to address issues of soundness.. The modifications are shown
as per the normal convention;

All addition text is shown underlined
All deleted text is shown struck through.
Where a large section of text such as a whole section has been deleted this has been replaced
by new text so that the document remains usable. Where this has happened is indicated in
the text. The reader should refer to the original copy on the main website
www.arun.gov.uk/emerging-local-plan
These proposed modifications will be presented to Arun District Council for approval and a
further round of consultation.

Paper was published during the preparation of this document and will need to be considered
and further changes may be required.
UPON ADOPTION OF THIS PLAN ALL SAVED POLICIES FROM THE 2003 ARUN LOCAL
PLAN WILL BE SUPERSEDED. Statement for accordance with Regulation 8(5) of The
Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.The schedule
of superseded policies is available on the Council's website.
