Patricio López-Sepúlveda is Assistant Professor of botany at the University of
Concepción, Chile. His research interests include island biology, speciation,
conservation,andtaxonomyofvascularplants,especiallyusingmoleculartools.
Carlos M. Baeza is Professor and Chair of the Department of Botany, University of
Concepción.HisresearchinterestsincludeislandbiologyandcytotaxonomyofChilean
vascularplants.
Eduardo A. Ruiz is Associate Professor and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Natural and
Oceanographic Sciences at the University of Concepción. His professional interests
include island biology and molecular systematics and population genetics of Chilean
endangeredspecies.
