7B) MISS YOST
Six years ago, and fresh out of college, a new social
studies teacher joined the faculty ofT azewell High
School. It didn’t take long for Miss Lori Yost to become
a hit with both students and teachers (one teacher in
particular). To observe her during a typical day at
T.H.S. would provide a lesson in excellence of
instruction, but also in dedication to the task and in
ag student rapport. Miss Yost is one of the “sunrise
ae school often before daylight in order
‘in ena for the day at hand. Yet, as the flours drag on
and tempers fray, she always manages to wear a smile
and to speak a kind word. Miss Yost’s students will
always remember her for her “quizzie-poos,’’ her
adressing us as “guys and dolls,”’ and her desk fined
with photos of nieces and nephews. We appreciate her
way of pushing us to Ried whether in U.S. History
classes, or in Model U.N. or the S.C.A. We can also
always count on her to wear Tazewell green and to
support all of our Bulldog activities. Tazewell High
School is truly privileged to have Miss Yost as teacher,
advisor, and friend.
